Every week, we let you know what titles we’re particularly pumped for with a recurring feature we call The Pull List. It let’s you know what titles are waiting for us in our boxes on Wednesday, and which ones we think you should be subscribing to too. And this week it’s Bat-mania on the DC side of the racks. Meanwhile, on Marvel’s end of things, one event starts to get rev up while the build up to others gets even more exciting.

This Wednesday, DC Comics is giving us more Batman then you can shake a dead cat at (Sorry Selina). First on the rack is Batman and Robin #35. The ‘Robin Rises’ storyline has taken Bruce to Apokolypse in search of his son’s body. All geared up in some awesome  Bat-Armor built for him by the rest of the League, Batman is ready to take on anything Darkseid’s home planet can throw at him.

Also this week, we have reached the ‘Turning Point’ of Batman Eternal, where Catwoman stands poised to becoming the new boss of Gotham. Surly this will lead up to the situation we saw in the Batman Eternal preview from the Batman series earlier this year. So with the surprise of will she/won’t she become an evil crime lord sort of ruined, we can focus our attention on just how Selina Kyle will take over the Gotham crime scene which, in our opinion, is by far the more interesting part.

In the always interesting Batman/Superman series, Greg Pak & Jae Lee are currently working through a story about who the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel would be if they lost their memories. With all of the power and none of the responsibility moral burden of Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne, our two heroes initially thought their lives were vastly improved. But when the world needed heroes, ours inevitably stepped up. And surely these foreign earth versions of our favorite DC heroes will get their memories back, but how? Hopefully we’ll get the answer to that question this week.

While it may seem like Bruce Wayne has bought out Warner Bros. this week, there are actually two weekly series going on at DC that have nothing to do with The Batman. The first, Earth 2 World’s End seems to be the story of the Earth 2 war, which involved the armies of Apykolypes, and how the citizens of Earth 2 ended up on New Earth in the Future’s End storyline. This is definitely the weekly book at DC that’s getting the least hype but also definitely worth checking out if you want a team of heroes type book.

Alright, enough of our Batman break. Speaking of teams of heroes, Justice League #35 is on the shelves this week and we’ve been waiting eagerly for this issue! At the end of last month’s Justice League we were promised an arrest for Lex Luthor. But this cover looks like Luthor may have gotten the drop on the team. While you should never judge a book by the cover, we’re definitely judging this one based on it, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Finally, there’s The New 52 Future’s End . This book has been focusing on the lesser known heroes of the DCU, and they’ve come together in some huge ways to make it great. A new team featuring Atom, Frankenstein, Hackman, and others are taking on Braniac lightyears away from Earth, where Green Arrow is training up a new team of heroes (from both New Earth and Earth 2).

Not to be outdone, Marvel has some of their biggest names on the shelves this week. Kicking things off they’ve brought their new weekly series Axis, which has promised to turn Marvel’s conventional allegiances inside out with new villains and heroes. As we continue to see that story play out, this book will definitely be a must-pull.

There can’t be a conversation about Marvel must pulls without Waid & Samnee’s Daredevil series. This book has been absolutely spectacular throughout the run. And with a great, creepy, Halloween story right now you need to be pulling this book. There are no good reasons not to be checking Daredevil out. Literally. Stop making excuses and go get it. Now.

If you thought one massive Marvel even was enough, boy were you sadly mistaken. Two more are on the horizon and they look as good, if not better then Axis. The first is Spider-verse. We’ve been on the edge of Spider-verse for some time and now that we’ve reached the end of Edge of Spider-verse with Issue #5. That means that this book is the last preface you get before the Superior Spider-Man gathers his multidimensional counterparts together for an event that will include every Spider-man ever.

In Avengers news, we knew last week that Hickman & Co. had begun a countdown to something big in 7 months, we just didn’t know what. This week, we do. At NYCC, Marvel announced the upcoming revival of Secret War in Avengers and New Avengers in 7 months. And they promise it is going to be gigantic. A Summer Marvel even in the Avengers books that is going to include the entire Marvel Universe? Get this book so you can be ready for it!

Finally, there’s Bendis’ X-Men run. His work on All-New X-Men and Uncanny X-Men have been wonderful in the aftermath of Avengers vs. X-Men. And with Axis kicking off, the X-Books are more vital to your pull list now then anytime since AvX. The new lines of good and evil will surly have an impact on characters like Magneto and Cyclops, so be sure to get your hands on Uncanny if you have any interest in the X-Universe.

So that’s it, our pull list this week. What caught your interest? Which books are you looking forward to yourself? Which ones do you think we could do without? Sound off in the comments below and check back later in the week for the best comics of the week!

As always, thanks for reading.
